There are no extra charges. You will sleep in a tent that is supplied and set up by us. On arrival and at hte finish day you will sleep in a room based on two or three people. So you will share your room with another solo rider. During the different stages you're bound to ride with at least two people. In case of emergency your co-driver can contact the organisation for technical or medical assistance. It is no fun to lug away 300 bags of +20 kg daily. Be sure <span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\"><strong>do not use a hard case or a trolley with wheels<\/strong><\/span> along. These could get broken by stacking in the truck. The best is to bring a flexible sports bag. These are light and easy to handle.<\/p><p>Because the tents are not intended to store your luggage, it is recommended that you bring a plastic protective cover with you so that your luggage remains dry if it rains at night or during the day. It is even easier to choose a waterproof sports bag.<\/p><p class=\"_04xlpA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">Always ask yourself if what you pack is really necessary. Invest in lightweight, compact camping gear. The more compact, the more expensive. However, it's best not to save too much money on this, as a good night's sleep is imperative when you're testing your stamina and making great physical efforts. It is important to pack correctly and logically. The official cancellation date is determined by the date of written receipt by Jowi Reizen.<\/p><p>The following cancellation fees must be paid by the traveller to Jowi Reizen, even if the cancellation is due to chance or force majeure.<\/p><p>An additional administrative fee of \u20ac50 per person will be charged on top of the percentages listed below.<\/p><p>All amounts are to be increased by the insurance premium from Allianz (if booked via Jowi Reizen).<\/p><p>Insurance premiums are never refundable.<\/p><p>If the traveller wishes to move their participation\/trip to a later edition, this is only possible if someone else takes their place (must be arranged by the cancelling participant).<\/p><p>If no replacement participant is provided, a maximum of 50% of the amount already paid can be transferred to the next edition.<\/p><p>The transfer to the next edition can be made up to 6 weeks before departure.<\/p><p>Cancellation fees charged to the traveller:<\/p><p>Cancellation up to 12 weeks before departure: 30% of the total trip cost.<\/p><p>Cancellation from 12 weeks before departure: 50% of the total trip cost.<\/p><p>Cancellation from 10 weeks before departure: 75% of the total trip cost.<\/p><p>Cancellation from 8 weeks before departure or no-show: 100% of the total trip cost.<\/p><p>Once flight tickets are issued (3 weeks before departure), no refunds are possible, and cancellation fees rise to 100% of the cost of the respective tickets, regardless of when the cancellation occurs. In that case, the percentages above no longer apply to these tickets. The mentioned cancellation fees may also be increased by additional costs charged by the various suppliers involved, such as carriers and\/or prepaid local permits.<\/p><p>Change Fees<\/p><p>All costs for changes to the booking after the order confirmation are the responsibility of the traveller.<\/p><p>The traveller may transfer their participation to another person, subject to an additional \u20ac300 administration fee.<\/p><p>Transfer of participation to another person is only possible up to 8 weeks before departure.<\/p><p>A flight ticket that has already been issued can never be changed. Issued tickets are 100% non-refundable, and this is always at the traveller's expense. The same applies to accommodations booked at non-refundable rates (which will be clearly communicated at the time of booking).<\/p><p>If a name change is possible for airline tickets, any associated costs are always the responsibility of the traveller(s).<\/p><p>If transportation or transfers have been booked through Jowi Reizen (beyond what is included), the cancellation\/change conditions of the respective transportation provider apply.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1156\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"6\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1156\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-bicycle\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">How can a get my bike to Morocc?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1156\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"6\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1156\"><p>We can transport your bike to and from Morocco if you have opted for the all-in package. Because more than 270 bicycles have to be transported, the loading space of the trucks must be used optimally. The transport boxes must therefore all be of the same size to simplify stacking and minimize the risk of damage. Every participant is therefore obliged to pack his bicycle in a cardboard bicycle box. You can contact us or your local bicycle dealer for this. (dim.: 146cmx83cmx21cm)<\/p><p>All bicycles are collected at a predetermined location in Belgium one week before departure. Bicycle boxes that are ordered from us via the personal online file will be delivered on the information day ( 31\/7) or will be ready at the place where the bicycles must be handed in 1 week before departure.<\/p><p>Be sure to check out the video in which we explain in several steps how to pack your bicycle.<\/p><p>HOW TO PACK YOUR MTB FOR TRANSPORT<\/p><p>The trucks will be on the road for approximately 7 days.<\/p><p>The bicycles must also be packed in the same bicycle box for the return journey.<\/p><p>During the event, all bicycle boxes are folded and stored in our trucks.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\"><strong>SO EVERYTHING THAT WENT IN THE BOX ON DEPARTURE MUST BE OUT OF THE PLACE AND INTO YOUR LUGGAGE!<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p>On site, only bicycles will be transported by us in the event of irreparable technical damage or if you as a participant are seriously injured and cannot continue driving.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">You can also take your bike on the plane. All the meals, water, energy and recovery drinks, fruit, cakes and accommodations are included. Cola, Fanta and beer can be purchased at the bivouac or at the hotel where we stay. This can only pay with euros. If you would like to buy a local drink or a nice souvenir then just bring some extra bucks along. Of course the adventure factor remains important and it is inevitable that in remote locations we sometimes have to sacrifice comfort.<\/p><p>The tents we offer are \u201cwater resistant\u201d, breathable and meet all modern standards of a good outdoor pop up tent. (Decathlon) Each participant has his\/her own tent. Couples sleep together as we provide double tents for them. We provide a mattress for each participant.
