Good equipment is essential at Roc du Maroc.
Make sure your bike is in perfect condition condition before departure. The tough conditions and rough slopes call for reliability, sturdiness and thorough preparation.

🛑 Braking system - brake pads and braking power.

🔋 Batteries - GPS, bike computer and heart rate monitor.

Choose a sturdy mountain bike that can take a beating.

A good front suspension reduces the strain on your back.

A full-suspension offers the most comfort and control on rough terrain.

Mount tyres with coarse tread, sturdy sidewalls and good grip.

Tubeless tyres are highly recommended: less risk of punctures, lighter, lower rolling resistance and better grip. (Stan's No Tubes)

Provide a correct sitting posture so that distances to 85 km per day stay comfortable.
