How to prepare yourself for the Roc du Maroc ?

Proper preparation is crucial when you want to participate in an extreme mountain bike endurance (marathon) like this. Crossing your boundaries is one thing but enjoying it is completely different. When you start well-trained, the experience will be all the more intense. It is important that you start your training schedule at least 4 months in advance. With 3 to 4 trainings spread throughout the week, you will come very far. Change duration training (race bike) with resistance and interval training (MTB). Both rides on the road (min.3u) and off road trips (min.1.5u) fit perfectly in this training schedule. During the last 5 weeks, the duration of training increases from 7am a week to 11am a week.
